Majuro, Marshall Islands – March 3, 2025 – Her Excellency President Hilda C. Heine officially accepted the Letter of Credence presented by His Excellency Roi Rosenblit, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The presentation ceremony took place at the Cabinet Conference Room, marking the beginning of Ambassador Rosenblit’s diplomatic mission in the Marshall Islands.
President Heine warmly welcomed Ambassador Rosenblit to the Marshall Islands and extended heartfelt congratulations on his appointment. In her statement, President Heine expressed the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ ongoing commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations with Israel and assured Ambassador Rosenblit of the Government’s full cooperation and support in advancing mutual interests. The ties between the Marshall Islands and Israel began 38 years ago, in the early years following the RMI’s independence, forming the foundation for a long-standing and enduring partnership.
The credential presentation ceremony was attended by Minister Bremity Lakjohn, Minister-in-Assistance to the President and Environment, Acting Foreign Minister David Paul and officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
