MAJURO, MARSHALL ISLANDS – June 10, 2026 – Her Excellency President Hilda C. Heine joined Ministers, senior officials, and regional partners at the opening of the 21st Annual Ministerial Meeting of the Parties to the Nauru Agreement (PNAMIN21) in Majuro, reaffirming the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ commitment to regional cooperation and the sustainable management of the Pacific’s tuna resources.
The opening ceremony also marked the formal handover of the PNA Chairmanship to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. As Ministers meet throughout the week to discuss fisheries management, climate resilience, market access, and other key priorities, the Marshall Islands looks forward to working closely with fellow PNA members to strengthen the value and sustainability of Pacific fisheries for the benefit of current and future generations.
