MAJURO, MARSHALL ISLANDS – March 10, 2026 – H.E. President Hilda C. Heine received a courtesy visit from the Midshipmen Cruising and Training Squadron of the Republic of China (Taiwan) at the Cabinet Conference Room.
The visiting delegation was led by Rear Admiral Chen Ming-Feng, Commander of the Squadron, accompanied by a delegation of distinguished naval officers, along with His Excellency Herbert Hsu of the Republic of China (Taiwan). President Heine warmly welcomed the delegation and conveyed her appreciation for their continued commitment to strengthening the long-standing friendship between the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of China (Taiwan).
During the meeting, President Hilda C. Heine expressed her appreciation for the delegation’s donation of sports equipment to the Public School System (PSS) and extended her well wishes for the upcoming goodwill volleyball and basketball games between the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The courtesy visit underscored the close partnership and enduring friendship between the two nations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to cooperation, goodwill, and regional engagement.
