MAJURO, MARSHALL ISLANDS – October 8, 2025 – H.E. President Hilda C. Heine officially accepted the Letter of Credence presented by His Excellency Archbishop Gábor Pintér, the newly appointed Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The presentation ceremony took place at the Cabinet Conference Room, formally marking the commencement of Archbishop Pintér’s diplomatic mission in the Marshall Islands.
President Heine warmly welcomed Archbishop Pintér and extended her sincere congratulations on his appointment. In her remarks, President Heine expressed the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ appreciation for the partnership and shared values that continue to strengthen the relationship between the two states. President Heine reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to working closely with Archbishop Pintér to further strengthen bilateral relations and advance areas of mutual interest during his tenure.
The credential presentation ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Kalani Kaneko and officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
