H.E. President Heine Accepts Credentials of New Ambassador from the Czech Republic to RMI

Majuro, Marshall Islands – March 6, 2026 – Her Excellency President Hilda C. Heine officially accepted the Letter of Credence presented by His Excellency Karel Hejc, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The presentation ceremony took place at the Cabinet Conference Room, marking the beginning of Ambassador Hejc’s diplomatic mission in the Marshall Islands.

President Heine warmly welcomed Ambassador Hejc and extended her sincere congratulations on his appointment. In her remarks, President Heine emphasized the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ strong and enduring relationship with the Czech Republic, noting that the government highly values the continued partnership between the two nations. President Heine assured Ambassador Hejc of the full support and cooperation of the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands in his efforts to further strengthen ties between the countries.

The credential presentation ceremony was attended by Minister Bremity Lakjohn, Minister-in-Assistance to the President and Environment, Foreign Minister Kalani Kaneko, Justice Minister Wisely Zackhras, and officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
