H.E. President Heine Accepts Credentials of New Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany

Majuro, Marshall Islands – July 1, 2024 – Her Excellency President Hilda C. Heine officially accepted the Letter of Credence presented by His Excellency Dr. Andreas Pfaffernoschke, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The presentation ceremony took place at the Cabinet Conference Room, marking the beginning of Ambassador Pfaffernoschke‘s diplomatic mission in the Marshall Islands.

President Heine warmly welcomed Ambassador Pfaffernoschke and Madam Marina Pfaffernoschke to the Marshall Islands and extended heartfelt congratulations on his appointment. President Heine expressed the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands’ unwavering commitment to fostering strong bilateral relations between the two nations and further assured Ambassador Pfaffernoschke of the fullest cooperation and support in advancing mutual interests.

The credential presentation also included the inauguration of newly appointed Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany, Mrs. Meitaka Kendall-Lekka.

The credential presentation ceremony was attended by Minister Bremity Lakjohn, Minister-in-Assistance to the President and Environment, Foreign Minister Kalani Kaneko, Transportation, Communication and IT Minister Hilton Kendall, and officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
