Presentation Of Credentials, His Excellency Ambassador Paul Wilson, Australia – His Excellency President David Kabua, Republic of the Marshall Islands

On Friday October 13, 2023, His Excellency President David Kabua received a letter of credence from His Excellency Paul Wilson Ambassador of Australia at the Cabinet Conference Room.

Honorable Minister Kitlang Kabua, Ministry of Culture and Internal Affairs, Honorable Minister John Silk, Ministry of Natural Resources and Commerce, Honorable Minister Wilbur Heine, Ministry of Education, Sports and Training, Honorable Minister Hiroshi V. Yamamura, Ministry of Works, Infrastructure and Utilities, Ms. Caroline Reid, Deputy Head of Mission, Australian Embassy Majuro, RMI, Chief Secretary Ms. Kino Kabua and government officials from the Office of the President and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade witnessed the presentation of credentials ceremony.

His Excellency President Kabua accepted the credentials of His Excellency Ambassador Paul Wilson and extended his warm greetings of “Iokwe” to the Marshall Islands where His Excellency Wilson will be stationed here in the RMI. In his remarks, His Excellency President Kabua expressed his best wishes and is confident that the friendship of Australia to the Republic of the Marshall Islands is in very good hands and will continue to enjoy peace, progress and prosperity in the years to come. His Excellency President Kabua looks forward to further promoting closer ties in our shared commitment and aspiration to enhancing relations for the mutual benefits of our people.

His Excellency Ambassador Paul Wilson expressed his most sincere appreciation for the welcome he received and gratitude for accepting his letter of credence. His Excellency Ambassador Wilson looks forward to working with the Government and the people of the Marshall Islands to extend further our valuable bilateral relationship. He also commended Marshall Islands leadership regionally and globally, particularly on climate change and supporting regional unity.
