Majuro, Marshall Islands – June 13, 2024 – Her Excellency President Hilda C. Heine joined distinguished Cabinet members for the official handover of an $8 million dollar donation from the Republic of China (Taiwan) to support capital projects vital for the development and progress of the Republic.
Republic of China (Taiwan) has been recognized for its contributions as a strong donor to the RMI supporting various causes towards sustainable development and other efforts to enable regional peace and security.
Foreign Minister Kalani Kaneko accepted the donation presented by Ambassador Steve C.C. Hsia, on behalf of the RMI Government.
